KPV vs BPC-157: How They Differ
Lysine-Proline-Valine vs Body Protection Compound
A 3-amino-acid alpha-MSH fragment next to a 15-amino-acid gastric peptide. Both sit inside KLOW.

Two peptides, one overlap
KPV and BPC-157 come up together because both show up in gut and inflammation research, and because both sit inside KLOW. Beyond that they're very different. KPV is tiny, just three amino acids. BPC-157 is fifteen.
We list KPV 5mg and BPC-157 10mg as separate vials.
Where each one comes from
KPV is lysine-proline-valine, the last three amino acids of alpha-MSH. It's cut from the tail of that hormone, so unlike PT-141 or MT-2 it doesn't act on melanocortin receptors. Its research is mostly cell and animal work on inflammation, with colitis models the most developed.
BPC-157 stands for Body Protection Compound. It's a 15-amino-acid fragment described from a protein found in gastric juice. Its research is also mostly animal work, spread wider: gut lining, tendon and ligament models, and tissue repair in general. Neither one is an approved drug.
Side by side
- Size of the peptide: KPV, 3 amino acids. BPC-157, 15.
- Parent: KPV from alpha-MSH. BPC-157 from a gastric protein.
- Main research angle: KPV, inflammation (gut models especially). BPC-157, gut and tissue repair across a wider range of models.
- On this site: KPV 5mg, BPC-157 10mg, and both inside the 80mg KLOW blend.
These are research angles drawn from published work, listed as product information. They aren't claims about what either compound does in a person.
Together in KLOW
KLOW combines GHK-Cu, KPV, BPC-157, and TB-500 in one 80mg vial. If you want them in a fixed mix, that's the listing. If you want to work with each one separately, the single vials are there. More in What is KLOW? and KLOW vs GLOW.

Quick answers
Is KPV the same as BPC-157?
No. KPV is a three-amino-acid fragment of alpha-MSH. BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide described from a gastric protein. They're unrelated, though both come up in gut and inflammation research.
What sizes do you list?
KPV is a 5mg vial and BPC-157 is a 10mg vial. Both are also named components of the 80mg KLOW blend.
Does KPV act like PT-141 or MT-2?
No. All three come from the alpha-MSH family, but KPV is the tail end of the hormone and doesn't act on the melanocortin receptors PT-141 and MT-2 are studied for.
